This gorgeous and extremely fragrant hyacinth produces impressive, 8–9" spikes of deep royal blue florets featuring even darker midribs on its petals. Butterflies give Peter Stuyvesant a lot of attention, but gardeners don't need to. Fertilize the flowers once in the spring and make sure they get an average amount of water. They grow easily in any well-drained soil. Hyacinths do well in containers, too!
